kṛte tu mānasī sṛṣṭirvṛttiḥ sākṣādrasollasā | tejomayyaḥ prajāstṛptāḥ sadānaṃdāśca bhoginaḥ
Im Kṛta-Yuga war die Schöpfung gleichsam geistgeboren, und der Lebensunterhalt leuchtete unmittelbar, reich an Wesenheit. Die Wesen waren von strahlender Natur, gesättigt, stets voll Wonne und konnten ohne Mangel genießen.
