स्नात्वार्णवमहीतोये तस्य स्यान्मनसेप्सितम् । कार्तिके च चतुर्द्देश्यां कृष्णायां श्रद्धयान्वितः

Transliteration

snātvārṇavamahītoye tasya syānmanasepsitam | kārtike ca caturddeśyāṃ kṛṣṇāyāṃ śraddhayānvitaḥ

Translation

Nachdem man im Wasser des Ozeans und in den heiligen Wassern der Erde gebadet hat, wird das Herzensbegehren erfüllt—besonders im Monat Kārttika, am vierzehnten Tag der dunklen Monatshälfte, wenn man es mit gläubiger Hingabe vollzieht.
