sa tairbāṇaistāḍyamāno vajrairiva mahāsuraḥ | vimucya vāsavaṃ kruddho bāṇāṃstānvyadhamaccharaiḥ
Von jenen Pfeilen getroffen wie von Donnerkeilen, geriet der große Asura in Zorn, ließ eine Waffe gleich der des Vāsava (Indra) los und zerschmetterte jene Pfeile mit seinen eigenen Geschossen.

Scene: The asura, battered by Vishnu’s arrows like thunderbolts, erupts in rage, releases an Indra-like weapon, and shatters the incoming arrows with his own shafts.
