Transliteration

tataḥ kumāraḥ sahasā mayūrastho'bhyadhāvata | kujaṃbhaṃ sānugaṃ hatvā vāsudevopyadhāvata

Translation

Darauf stürmte Kumāra (Skanda), auf seinem Pfau reitend, unverzüglich hervor. Nachdem er Kujambha samt seinen Gefolgsleuten erschlagen hatte, drang auch Vāsudeva (Viṣṇu) nach vorn zum Angriff.
