Indra
Listener: Skanda
Scene: Indra, crowned and holding vajra, bows with folded hands before Skanda; Skanda stands composed, spear in hand, peacock nearby; devas behind Indra echo the plea for protection.
Even the king of gods seeks refuge in higher divine purpose; humility and prayer precede restoration of order.
No specific tīrtha is praised; the verse is part of the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa narrative.
The act of praṇāma (bowing) is shown as devotional conduct, but no formal rite is prescribed.
