स्वगोत्रं यदि न ब्रूते न देया भगिनी मम । ततो हासस्तदा जज्ञे सर्वेषां सुमहास्वनः
svagotraṃ yadi na brūte na deyā bhaginī mama | tato hāsastadā jajñe sarveṣāṃ sumahāsvanaḥ
„Wenn er seinen eigenen Gotra nicht nennt, darf meine Schwester nicht (zur Ehe) gegeben werden.“ Da erhob sich unter allen ein großes Gelächter, laut widerhallend.
