पाद्यमाचमनं दत्त्वा मधुपर्कं च गां तथा । प्रदानस्य प्रयोगं च संचिंतयंति ब्राह्मणाः

Transliteration

pādyamācamanaṃ dattvā madhuparkaṃ ca gāṃ tathā | pradānasya prayogaṃ ca saṃciṃtayaṃti brāhmaṇāḥ

Translation

Nachdem man Fußwasser und Trinkwasser dargebracht hatte, dazu Madhuparka und eine Kuh, berieten die Brāhmaṇas über die rechte Ordnung des feierlichen Schenkaktes.
