Transliteration

daśabhirdaśabhiḥ śalyairjaghnuḥ sagaruḍaṃ raṇe | teṣāmamṛṣyattatkarma viṣṇurdānavasūdanaḥ

Translation

Im Kampf trafen sie Viṣṇu samt Garuḍa, ein jeder mit zehn widerhakigen Geschossen. Viṣṇu, der Bezwinger der Dānavas, konnte diese Tat nicht ertragen.
