गर्जतां देवदैत्यानां शंखभेरीरवेण च । तूर्याणां चैव निर्घोषैर्मातंगानां च बृंहितैः

garjatāṃ devadaityānāṃ śaṃkhabherīraveṇa ca | tūryāṇāṃ caiva nirghoṣairmātaṃgānāṃ ca bṛṃhitaiḥ

Mit dem Brüllen der Götter und Asuras, mit dem Schmettern von Muschelhörnern und Kesseltrommeln, mit dem Donnern der Kriegsinstrumente und dem Trompeten der Elefanten hallte das Schlachtfeld wider.
