एवमस्त्विति तं ब्रह्मा प्राह विस्मितमानसः । उपेक्षते च शक्रं स भाव्यर्थं कोऽतिवर्तते
evamastviti taṃ brahmā prāha vismitamānasaḥ | upekṣate ca śakraṃ sa bhāvyarthaṃ ko'tivartate
Brahmā, im Herzen erstaunt, sprach zu ihm: „So sei es.“ Und er ließ Śakra (Indra) unbeachtet; denn wer vermag zu überschreiten, was dem Kommenden bestimmt ist?
