Transliteration

dharmo jīvadayā tulyo na kvāpi jagatītale | tasmātsarvaprayatnena kāryā jīvadayā nṛbhiḥ

Translation

Auf Erden gibt es kein Dharma, das dem Mitgefühl gegenüber lebenden Wesen gleichkäme. Darum sollen Menschen mit aller Anstrengung die Barmherzigkeit gegenüber dem Leben üben.
