मनो मे चरणद्वंद्वे तव स्थास्यति निश्चलम् । क्रतुं द्रष्टुं पितुर्यामि नैक्षि यज्ञो मया क्वचित्
mano me caraṇadvaṃdve tava sthāsyati niścalam | kratuṃ draṣṭuṃ pituryāmi naikṣi yajño mayā kvacit
Mein Geist wird unbeweglich bei deinen beiden Füßen verweilen. Ich gehe zum Ort meines Vaters nur, um das Opfer zu sehen; ich gehe nicht, um selbst irgendein yajña zu vollziehen.“
