Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 8

विधिं संपूजयेद्भक्त्या रत्नपट्टाबंरादिभिः । पुष्पैर्नानाविधै रम्यैः फलैर्नारंगमुख्यकैः

vidhiṃ saṃpūjayedbhaktyā ratnapaṭṭābaṃrādibhiḥ | puṣpairnānāvidhai ramyaiḥ phalairnāraṃgamukhyakaiḥ

In Hingabe soll man die Verehrung nach Vorschrift vollziehen mit Juwelenschmuck, Seidengewändern und dergleichen; mit vielerlei lieblichen Blumen und Früchten, wobei Orangen zu den Hauptgaben zählen.
