किंकुलीयः स नो वेद्मि किंदेशीयः किमाख्यकः । दुनोति नितरां सख्यस्तद्विश्लेषानलो महान्
kiṃkulīyaḥ sa no vedmi kiṃdeśīyaḥ kimākhyakaḥ | dunoti nitarāṃ sakhyastadviśleṣānalo mahān
Ich weiß nicht, aus welchem Geschlecht er stammt, aus welchem Land er kommt, ja nicht einmal, wie er heißt. Doch, o Freunde, das große Feuer der Trennung von ihm quält mich überaus.
