न जाने त्वथ किं वृत्तं काहं क्वाहं स चाथ कः । तं निर्जिगमिषुं सख्यो यावद्धर्तुं प्रसारितः
na jāne tvatha kiṃ vṛttaṃ kāhaṃ kvāhaṃ sa cātha kaḥ | taṃ nirjigamiṣuṃ sakhyo yāvaddhartuṃ prasāritaḥ
Da wusste ich nicht, was geschehen war: wer ich war, wo ich war, ja nicht einmal, wer er war. Als er im Begriff war zu gehen, streckte ich, o Freundinnen, die Hand aus, um ihn zurückzuhalten—wenn auch nur für einen Augenblick.
