Transliteration

pāpāni pāpināṃ hatvā mahāṃtyapi bahūnyapi | kāśītīrthāni madhyāhne prāyaścittacikīrṣayā

Translation

Nachdem sie die Sünden der Sünder vernichtet haben—selbst viele und große—werden die Tīrthas von Kāśī zur Mittagszeit von denen aufgesucht, die Sühne (prāyaścitta) vollziehen wollen.
