नृणां पापकृतां तीर्थे पापस्य शमनं भवेत् । यथोक्तं फलदं तीर्थं भवेच्छ्रद्धात्मनां नृणाम्
nṛṇāṃ pāpakṛtāṃ tīrthe pāpasya śamanaṃ bhavet | yathoktaṃ phaladaṃ tīrthaṃ bhavecchraddhātmanāṃ nṛṇām
Für Menschen, die Sünden begangen haben, wird ein Tīrtha zum Ort, an dem die Sünde besänftigt wird. Und ein Tīrtha gewährt die verkündeten Früchte, besonders den Glaubensvollen.
