विश्वेशानुगृहीतानां विच्छिन्नाखिलकर्मणाम् । भवेत्काशीं प्रति मतिर्नेतरेषां कदाचन
viśveśānugṛhītānāṃ vicchinnākhilakarmaṇām | bhavetkāśīṃ prati matirnetareṣāṃ kadācana
Nur jene, die von Viśveśa, dem Herrn von Kāśī, begnadet sind und deren angesammelte Karmas gänzlich abgeschnitten wurden, entwickeln eine wahre Hinwendung zu Kāśī; bei den anderen entsteht eine solche Wendung des Geistes zu Kāśī niemals.
