तस्यार्कस्य मनोलोलं यदासीत्काशिदर्शने । अतो लोलार्क इत्याख्या काश्यां जाता विवस्वतः

Transliteration

tasyārkasya manololaṃ yadāsītkāśidarśane | ato lolārka ityākhyā kāśyāṃ jātā vivasvataḥ

Translation

Als der Geist jener Sonne beim Anblick von Kāśī begierig und unruhig wurde, darum wurde Vivasvat in Kāśī unter dem Namen „Lolārka“ bekannt.
