Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: Two devotees speak with relief: though Śiva seemed averted, their acts of Kāśī-sevā cause Śiva/Viśveśvara to turn toward them with a compassionate gaze; the Gaṅgā and temple lamps frame the moment of reconciliation.
Service to Kāśī is a powerful purifier that draws divine grace; sacred place-devotion is itself a dharmic means to divine favor.
Kāśī, whose very “sevā” is said to generate puṇya capable of turning Īśvara favorable.
Kāśī-sevana—serving/attending upon Kāśī (residing respectfully, supporting its sacred life) is implied as the practice.
