Skanda
Tirtha: Avimukta (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Vipra/Brāhmaṇa (addressed)
Scene: Skanda explains a moral causality: desired aims succeed through merit, and merit comes from honoring the Vedic path; listeners appear contemplative, with Vedic symbols (fire altar, manuscripts).
Worldly and spiritual success is rooted in puṇya, and puṇya is strengthened by respecting and following Vedic dharma (Śruti).
The immediate discourse belongs to Avimukta/Kāśī Māhātmya, though this verse states a general dharma principle supporting kṣetra-fruit.
Reverence for and adherence to Śruti-based conduct (Śruti-vartma) is prescribed as the generator of merit.
