Transliteration

gokṣīravarṇaviśade susnigdhe kṛṣṇapakṣmaṇī | unnatākṣī na dīrghāyurvṛttākṣī kulaṭā bhavet

Translation

Gepriesen werden Augen, klar wie die Farbe der Kuhmilch, sehr glänzend und mit schwarzen Wimpern. Doch wer allzu hervorstehende Augen hat, heißt es, wird nicht langlebig sein; und wer allzu runde Augen hat, heißt es, werde unkeusch.
