Transliteration

āśayā kiṃcidāśvasya tatpatnīṃ paripṛṣṭavān | satyaṃ brūhi na bhetavyaṃ dāsyāmyanyadapi dhruvam

Translation

Mit ein wenig Hoffnung, sie etwas tröstend, befragte er die Frau jenes Mannes: „Sprich die Wahrheit, fürchte dich nicht; gewiss werde ich dir auch noch anderes geben.“
