Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 93

शृण्वंति महिमानं ये गंगाया नित्यमादरात् । गंगास्नानफलं तेषां वाचकप्रीणनाद्धनैः

śṛṇvaṃti mahimānaṃ ye gaṃgāyā nityamādarāt | gaṃgāsnānaphalaṃ teṣāṃ vācakaprīṇanāddhanaiḥ

Diejenigen, die in Ehrfurcht stets die Größe der Gaṅgā hören, erlangen die Frucht des Badens in der Gaṅgā—besonders, wenn sie den Rezitator mit Gaben an Reichtum erfreuen.
