Skanda to Agastya (deduced)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and ṛṣis
Scene: Sunīti, composed yet tearful, gathers tears like lotus-pearls and fashions a garland; she places it in Dhruva’s hands as a blessing. The garland glistens, symbolizing dhairya as the thread and love as sacred offering.
A mother’s tears can become a sacred offering when joined to courage; compassion and steadfastness support spiritual pursuit.
No particular tīrtha is referenced in this verse.
No formal ritual is prescribed; it depicts an emotional ‘upāyana’ (parting gift) imbued with dharma.
