Transliteration

kiṃtu sarvaguṇopetaṃ sarvalakṣaṇalakṣitam | saṃpūrṇanirmalakalaṃ pātayedvidhuvadvidhiḥ

Translation

Doch selbst wer mit allen Tugenden ausgestattet und von allen glückverheißenden Zeichen gekennzeichnet ist—vollkommen und makellos in jedem Teil—kann durch widriges Geschick zu Fall gebracht werden, wie der Mond durch seinen verordneten Lauf herabgeführt wird.
