अब्दं जप्तमिदं स्तोत्रं पुत्रदं नात्र संशयः । इत्युक्त्वांतर्दधे बालः सोपि विप्रो गृहं गतः
abdaṃ japtamidaṃ stotraṃ putradaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | ityuktvāṃtardadhe bālaḥ sopi vipro gṛhaṃ gataḥ
„Wird dieser Hymnus ein Jahr lang rezitiert, schenkt er einen Sohn – daran besteht kein Zweifel.“ So sprechend verschwand der Knabe; und auch jener Brāhmaṇa kehrte nach Hause zurück.
