चंडकोपस्ततो देवीं खड्गचर्मधरोऽभ्यगात् । खड्गेन सिंहमाजघ्ने देव्या वाहं महासुरः

Transliteration

caṃḍakopastato devīṃ khaḍgacarmadharo'bhyagāt | khaḍgena siṃhamājaghne devyā vāhaṃ mahāsuraḥ

Translation

Daraufhin rückte Caṇḍakopa, Schwert und Schild tragend, auf die Göttin zu. Mit dem Schwert schlug der große Asura den Löwen, das Reittier der Devī.
