विधिवत्पूजयामास पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीयकैः । उवाच च महीपालं धर्मार्थसहितं वचः

Transliteration

vidhivatpūjayāmāsa pādyārghyācamanīyakaiḥ | uvāca ca mahīpālaṃ dharmārthasahitaṃ vacaḥ

Translation

Vorschriftsgemäß ehrte er ihn mit Wasser für die Füße (pādya), der Ehrengabe (arghya) und Wasser zum rituellen Schlürfen (ācamanīya). Dann sprach er zum König Worte, getragen von Dharma und rechtem Zweck.
