Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 80

तद्वेष्टयित्वा पुच्छेन पाणिभ्यां धरणीं स्पृशन् । उत्पपाताथ तरसा व्योम्नि वायुसुतः कपिः

tadveṣṭayitvā pucchena pāṇibhyāṃ dharaṇīṃ spṛśan | utpapātātha tarasā vyomni vāyusutaḥ kapiḥ

Indem er es mit seinem Schwanz umwand, die Erde mit beiden Händen berührend, sprang Vāyus Sohn — der Affe — dann in jäher Schnelle in den Himmel empor.
