Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 36

शाल्मलीनरके घोरे पात्यते बहुकंटके । स्नाति चेद्धनुषः कोटौ तस्मिन्नासौ निपात्यते

śālmalīnarake ghore pātyate bahukaṃṭake | snāti ceddhanuṣaḥ koṭau tasminnāsau nipātyate

Er wird in die schreckliche Śālmalī-Hölle gestürzt, die von vielen Dornen starrt. Selbst wenn er am Setu, an der heiligen Stätte namens „Dhanus-koṭi“, badete, fiele er dennoch dorthin.
