Type: kund
Listener: dvijāḥ (brāhmaṇas)
Scene: As the last trace of Brahmahatyā vanishes like smoke over water, Śambhu manifests before Bhairava in radiant form; the mountain tīrtha glows; sages witness the theophany as Śiva begins to speak.
When impurity is truly removed, divine grace becomes immediate—purification culminates in Śiva’s presence and instruction.
Śivatīrtha is implied as the locus where Brahmahatyā is dissolved completely.
The narrative confirms the efficacy of tīrtha-snānā as a prāyaścitta powerful enough to annihilate grave sin.
