सर्वे पातकिनो मर्त्या मुच्यन्ते सर्वपातकैः । व्रतदान तपोहोमैर्न तथा तुष्यते शिवः

Transliteration

sarve pātakino martyā mucyante sarvapātakaiḥ | vratadāna tapohomairna tathā tuṣyate śivaḥ

Translation

Alle sündigen Sterblichen werden dort von jeder Sünde befreit. Durch Gelübde, Gaben, Askese und Feueropfer wird Śiva nicht in gleichem Maße erfreut wie durch dieses heilige Verdienst.
