Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 18

अपूजयन्विष्टराद्यैः कंदमूलफलैस्तदा । आसनं परिगृह्यायं पूजितः सपुरःसरः

apūjayanviṣṭarādyaiḥ kaṃdamūlaphalaistadā | āsanaṃ parigṛhyāyaṃ pūjitaḥ sapuraḥsaraḥ

Da ehrten sie ihn mit gebührenden Gaben — Sitz und dergleichen, dazu Wurzeln, Knollen und Früchte. Als er den Sitz annahm, wurde er, samt seinen Begleitern, ordnungsgemäß verehrt.
