अन्वास्य पश्चिमां संध्यां सुखं सुष्वाप तत्तटे । याममात्रावशिष्टायां विभावर्यां महाध्वनिः

Transliteration

anvāsya paścimāṃ saṃdhyāṃ sukhaṃ suṣvāpa tattaṭe | yāmamātrāvaśiṣṭāyāṃ vibhāvaryāṃ mahādhvaniḥ

Translation

Nachdem er die abendliche Sandhyā ordnungsgemäß vollzogen hatte, schlief er friedlich an jenem Flussufer. Als nur noch ein Yāma der Nacht verblieb, erhob sich in der Dunkelheit ein gewaltiger Klang.
