Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 45

क्षेत्रोपवासमकरोद्दिनमेकं मुनीश्वरः । अपरेद्युः पुनः स्नात्वा पारणामकरोद्द्विजः

kṣetropavāsamakaroddinamekaṃ munīśvaraḥ | aparedyuḥ punaḥ snātvā pāraṇāmakaroddvijaḥ

Der erhabene Weise hielt im heiligen Bezirk einen Tag lang Fasten. Am folgenden Tag badete der Zweimalgeborene erneut und vollzog die rechte Pāraṇā, das rituelle Brechen des Fastens.
