Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 28

नियमव्रतसं पन्नैः समाकीर्णं तपस्विभिः । दीक्षितैर्यागहेतोश्च यताहारैः कृतात्मभिः

niyamavratasaṃ pannaiḥ samākīrṇaṃ tapasvibhiḥ | dīkṣitairyāgahetośca yatāhāraiḥ kṛtātmabhiḥ

Er war erfüllt von Asketen, die Zucht und Gelübde trugen—als Dīkṣitas zum Zwecke des Yajña geweiht—selbstbeherrscht, in der Nahrung gezügelt und ihrer selbst mächtig.
