Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 51

प्रत्युत्थानाभिवादादीन्न चक्रे सादरं नृपः । तिष्ठतो ब्राह्मणान्सर्वान्पर्यपृच्छदसौ ततः

pratyutthānābhivādādīnna cakre sādaraṃ nṛpaḥ | tiṣṭhato brāhmaṇānsarvānparyapṛcchadasau tataḥ

Der König erwies nicht ehrerbietig die üblichen Höflichkeiten—nicht das Aufstehen zum Empfang, nicht die ehrenden Grüße und dergleichen. Während alle Brahmanen standen, befragte er sie daraufhin.
