व्यास उवाच । साधु पृष्टं त्वया राजन्धर्मज्ञस्त्वं सदा शुचिः । आदौ कलियुगे प्राप्ते यद्दत्तं तच्छृणुष्व भोः
vyāsa uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā rājandharmajñastvaṃ sadā śuciḥ | ādau kaliyuge prāpte yaddattaṃ tacchṛṇuṣva bhoḥ
Vyāsa sprach: Gut hast du gefragt, o König; du bist ein Kenner des Dharma und stets rein. So höre nun, o Edler, was festgesetzt wurde, als zu Beginn das Kali-Zeitalter eintrat.
