Skanda (deduced; continuation of the model mantra for Gayā rites)
Tirtha: Gayā
Type: kshetra
Scene: The offering is placed into Hari’s hand; departed ancestors are suggested as subtle presences receiving grace through the deity’s mediation.
The Lord is portrayed as the ultimate dispenser of benefit to the departed when offerings are surrendered to Him.
The passage continues the Gayā-context of piṇḍa offerings presented to Hari/Janārdana.
Use the stated mantra and give the offering directly “into the hand of Hari.”
