देव्युवाच । स्वस्थाः संतु द्विजाः सर्वे न च पीडा भविष्यति । मयि स्थितायां दुर्धर्षा दैत्या येऽन्ये च राक्षसाः
devyuvāca | svasthāḥ saṃtu dvijāḥ sarve na ca pīḍā bhaviṣyati | mayi sthitāyāṃ durdharṣā daityā ye'nye ca rākṣasāḥ
Die Göttin sprach: „Mögen alle Dvijas heil und sicher sein; kein Leid wird entstehen. Solange Ich hier gegründet bin, werden die schwer bezwingbaren Daityas und die übrigen Rākṣasas nicht die Oberhand gewinnen.“
