नैव यज्ञेन मे कार्यं सुरैश्चैव तथैव च । सर्वेषु यज्ञकार्येषु भागं ददतु मे सुराः

Transliteration

naiva yajñena me kāryaṃ suraiścaiva tathaiva ca | sarveṣu yajñakāryeṣu bhāgaṃ dadatu me surāḥ

Translation

„Ich habe kein persönliches Bedürfnis nach dem Yajña, noch nach den Devas als solchen. Mögen die Devas mir fortan in allen Opferhandlungen einen Anteil gewähren.“
