FAQs

Charity is presented as a dharmic cause that yields both worldly welfare and posthumous spiritual benefit.

The broader passage belongs to Dharmāraṇya’s praise, where acts done in the sacred region are explained with their fruits.

The prescription is dāna itself, with an announced intention to enumerate the specific fruits of each gift/act.
