Transliteration

dvijabhaktisamāyuktā brahmaṇyāste taponvitāḥ | purāṇajñāḥ sadācārā dhārmikā bahmabhojakāḥ

Translation

Sie waren erfüllt von Hingabe zu den Dvijas, dem brahmanischen Dharma zugetan und mit Tapas begabt; Kenner der Purāṇas, von guter Lebensführung, rechtschaffen und Spender von Speise für Brāhmaṇas.
