पालनात्पोषणान्नॄणां धर्मो भवति वै ध्रुवम् । तत्तद्धर्मस्य भोक्ता त्वमित्येवं मनुरब्रवीत्

pālanātpoṣaṇānnṝṇāṃ dharmo bhavati vai dhruvam | tattaddharmasya bhoktā tvamityevaṃ manurabravīt

Wahrlich, durch den Schutz und die Fürsorge für die Menschen wird Dharma gewiss gefestigt. Darum bist du derjenige, der an eben diesem Dharma teilhat und dafür verantwortlich ist; so sprach Manu.
