Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 31

उपेत्य राजसदनं सोमवारे द्विजोत्तमैः । सपत्नीकैः कृतातिथ्यौ धौतपादौ बभूवतुः

upetya rājasadanaṃ somavāre dvijottamaiḥ | sapatnīkaiḥ kṛtātithyau dhautapādau babhūvatuḥ

Als sie am Montag die königliche Residenz erreichten, wurden sie von erhabenen Brāhmaṇas samt ihren Gattinnen gastlich empfangen; nachdem man ihnen die Füße gewaschen hatte, wurden die beiden als heilige Gäste gebührend geehrt.
