Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 43

अंगैरुमाद्यैरिंद्राद्यैः पूजोक्ता मुनिभिस्तु तैः । उमाचंडेश्वरादींश्च पूजयेदुत्तरादितः

aṃgairumādyairiṃdrādyaiḥ pūjoktā munibhistu taiḥ | umācaṃḍeśvarādīṃśca pūjayeduttarāditaḥ

Diese Verehrung wurde von jenen Weisen gelehrt—durch die göttlichen Glieder, beginnend mit Umā, und durch die Gottheiten, beginnend mit Indra. Danach soll man in der folgenden Reihenfolge Umā, Caṇḍeśvara und die anderen verehren.
