Śāṇḍilya (deduced from immediate narrative context)
Tirtha: Pradoṣa-kāla (temporal sacred observance)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brāhmaṇa woman / household context implied by surrounding verses
Scene: Twilight (pradoṣa) worship: a devotee before a Śiva-liṅga, lamps lit, bilva leaves and water offerings; subtle presence of other devatās in the background signifying their satisfaction.
At Pradoṣa, single-minded devotion to Śiva brings harmony and divine favor, even from all the devas.
No specific tīrtha is named in this verse; it praises the sacred timing of Pradoṣa and Śiva’s supremacy in that observance.
Worship Śiva alone at Pradoṣa, and perform the worship 'vidhinā'—according to the proper ritual rule.
