व्यासासनं समारूढो यदा पौराणिको द्विजः । असमाप्तप्रसंगश्च नमस्कुर्यान्न कस्य चित्

vyāsāsanaṃ samārūḍho yadā paurāṇiko dvijaḥ | asamāptaprasaṃgaśca namaskuryānna kasya cit

Wenn der Purāṇa-Rezitator, der Zweimalgeborene, den Vyāsa-Sitz bestiegen hat und die Darlegung noch nicht beendet ist, soll er nicht aufstehen, um irgendjemandem Ehrerbietung zu erweisen.
