Transliteration

etā nityaṃ namaskṛtya tripuṃḍraṃ dhārayetsudhīḥ | maheśvaravratamidaṃ sarvavedeṣu kīrtitam

Translation

Nachdem man diese heiligen Übungen täglich ehrfürchtig gegrüßt hat, soll der Weise das Tripuṇḍra tragen. Dies ist das Gelübde Maheśvaras (Śivas), in allen Veden verkündet.
